Mobile twinning is a feature available to Avaya IP Office customers that allows users to use their mobile phone as if it were their desk phone. Internal, external and hunt group calls will simultaneously ring both the user’s desk phone and mobile phone so that wherever they are they never need to miss a call.
All the features of your desk phone on your mobile
When a call is taken on the mobile phone, users are able to use features normally only found on a desk phone such as transfering calls to another user, placing a call on hold, conference others including external numbers into the conversation and even record the call. This feature is ideal if you are often out of the office and need to ensure the details of your call are correct such as financial advice, legal advice, sales calls, order taking and much much more.
You now only ever need to give ONE NUMBER to customers and colleagues. Your customers don’t need to remember 2 or 3 numbers for you they can always get hold of you on your ONE NUMBER. You can also switch twinning off by pressing a button or by setting up a time profile to switch this feature on and off automatically.
Better customer service
If you do miss a call, voicemail messages are taken on the IP Office and not held on mobile phones where they could be missed. IP Office allows you to access your voicemails remotely or even by email and if you don’t respond to a voicemail within a preset time period, that voicemail will be forwarded to someone else to deal with ensuring your customers always get the best possible service.
